Description:  In the year 2417 new space time agent Valerian embarks on his first voyage. In the year 912 he meets the irrepressible Laureline. Despite the best of intentions, they find that they have somehow changed the future and there is much to set aright. Time Agent cadet Valerian breaks the cardinal rule of time traveling by rescuing a beautiful dancer, Laureline, from the Early Middle Ages and taking her back with him to the year 2416. Upon arrival, however, he realizes the consequences of his actions: the Earth is missing.
