Description:  As the President (elected in 1876) prepares to make his acceptance speech, his secretary sends his hat out to be cleaned... with the President's speech still inside. The hat ends up at Hector Heathcote Cleaning and Pressing ("Four Score and Seven Hour Service; Union Shop- We Accept No Confederate Money). After Hector and his dog take on the difficult job, the new President swears Hector in as an admiral.
