Description:  At a small Ohio college, Sam Beckett is a literature professor who must discourage the amorous advances of a student and finds the woman who left him at the altar. Sam hopes that resolving her conflicts with her father will prevent her from deserting him. Sam leaps into the body of Dr. Gerald Bryant, an English professor at an Ohio college. It is apparent that he is there to prevent Bryant, a boozing middle-aged lecherous man, from marrying one of his students, Jamie Lee. He is distracted however when he realizes that his one true love, Donna - the woman who will leave him standing at the altar 12 years into the future - is also a student there. Knowing what will happen in the future, Sam concludes that it is something in Donna's childhood that keeps her from being able to commit to a relationship and sets about rectifying the situation.
