Description: Felix is wandering alone over the cliffs during the Stone Age, when he suddenly falls into a deep trap hole from which he cannot free himself. Luckily, a young baby mammoth, Woolly, turns up to save Felix. But the rabbit will then be taken hostage by a group of hunters. The hunter's wife is not pleased about the small catch, since a rabbit would hardly provide enough fur for a new coat. In order to buy some time, Felix lights a match to demonstrate fire. The diversion works briefly, but quickly goes sour due to the cavemen's lack of familiarity with such flames, causing them to burn themselves. Woolly, who has been watching the entire incident from a distance, soon rejoins Felix. Shortly thereafter, a sabre-toothed-tiger emerges! Felix quickly lights a new fire to drive the tiger awayÉ In spite of the initial difficulties, Felix's efforts will ultimately make life in the caves more comfortable, for fire will allow the cavemen to fend off the sabre-toothed-tiger. After saying good-bye, Felix is again on his way back home.
