Description:  A school boy finds a time machine and he helps Alisa, a scientist girl in the future, to save a mind-reading device from space pirates. Chased by the pirates and followed by Alisa he saves the device bringing it back to his own time. 6th grader Kolya Gerasimov discovers a time machine in a basement of an old house in Moscow and gets transferred into the 21st century. There he is allowed to look around. Accidentally, Kolya witnesses two space pirates who arrive from Saturn and later try to steal a device called a "Mielophone" (which can read thoughts) from Alisa Seleznyova - a girl that performs experiments with this device and animals. Kolya manages to save the device from the pirates and brings it back to the 20th century. But both pirates and Alisa get there too. Alisa knows where Kolya studies but doesn't know what he looks like. Pirates saw Kolya, but don't know anything about him. ///// Five-part Soviet television miniseries, made at Gorky Film Studio, first aired in 1985. It is based on the novel One Hundred Years Ahead ( ) by Kir Bulychov. ///// The series starred Natalya Guseva as Alisa Selezneva, a girl from the future that travels to the present and Aleksei Fomkin as Kolia Gerasimov, a boy from the present who travels to the future. ///// The series was a great success in the Soviet Union and is often re-aired to this day. Based on Kir Bulychyov's novel "One Hundred Years Ahead" (1977) Alice Seleznyova, a girl from the future, finds herself in our time (1984). Following her, the space pirates Krys and Joker Y get here, too, with most nasty pirate's intentions. Coming to her help is an ordinary boy, Kolya, as well as his friends from his 6th grade.
