Description:  Boyd makes a voyage to Mars to stop the planet's attacks on Earth, making the voyage through a time jump. However, they arrive to find the Martians have already been wiped out by atomic war, their attacks were delayed by the time lag between worlds. Unable to repair their ship, Boyd's crew settles on Mars and learn a lesson about the futility of war.
